Parents and children flock to our open day

Hundreds of parents, carers and their children flocked to our open day on Monday 28th September. Visitors were shown around our temporary buildings by our eager Year 7 guides and treated to demonstrations of learning activities, displays of work and a confident performance from our choir. The open day also gave visitors the opportunity to discuss the exciting new school building which is starting to emerge from its foundations on the Crescent Road site and will be ready for occupation in 2016. Head teacher, Dr Thomas, and other students and staff shared with our guests the reasons why we believe Maiden Erlegh School in Reading is a great choice of school for those in Year 6 considering their secondary school options.

We are offering further opportunities to visit the school in action. Parents, carers and children are welcome to visit 10.45-11.30am or 1.30-2.15pm on any Friday in October. No appointment necessary.
