Virtual Open mornings for year 6 pupils and their families

Due to increased levels of covid-19 positive cases in our school community, we have made the difficult decision to change our open mornings on 14 and 21 October to virtual events.  The virtual event will be a short presentation from our Headteacher, Mr Andy Johnson, followed by a Q&A session.   The talk will start at 10:30am and will last approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on the level of questions you wish to ask.  Please use the link here to make a booking.  

Please can we take this opportunity to draw your attention to the Prospective Families section of our website here, where you can access a virtual tour of the school, find out about our transition process and find further information about our admissions process.  Please remember that you need to apply for your child’s place at our school via the local authority that you pay your council tax to.  The closing date for applications is 31 October 2021.

If you were unable to attend our open evening on 28 September and would like a tour of the school, we would be able to offer this at 3:30pm on Thursday 14 and Thursday 21 October.  Please note that this will be just to see the school premises as the majority of our students will have left for the day.  If you would like to attend, please let us know via meroffice@maidenerleghtrust.org.  We will ask that only one parent/guardian attends with their child and that face masks are worn wherever possible.
