Maiden Erlegh Institute is a partnership of Ofsted rated Outstanding and Good schools. We work in partnership with the University of Reading to deliver the ‘School Direct’ route in to teaching. With school direct, applicants can choose their main placement school and spend the majority of their training in school alongside qualified teachers. This route is open to high quality graduates and is popular with those looking to secure a role within their main placement school.  Our programme will give you the skills that schools are looking for in a Early Career Teacher (ECT).

We offer courses in a variety of primary and secondary schools (including grammar) in Reading, Wokingham and Oxfordshire.
